Baptisms
At Stones Methodist Church, we joyfully offer baptisms (also known as christenings) for individuals of all ages—babies, toddlers, children, teenagers, and adults.
For Babies and Young Children: Baptism is a beautiful celebration of a child's life as a gift from God. During the service, we pray for God's blessing on the child as they grow and learn. Families, along with the church community, make a promise to nurture, love, and support the child on their journey of faith.
For Older Children, Teenagers, and Adults: Baptism for older individuals is a powerful expression of personal faith and commitment to following Jesus Christ. Those being baptised make their own promises to live a life of faith, love, and service.
A Special Moment to Remember: Everyone who is baptised receives a lighted candle—a symbolic reminder to shine brightly with God's love in their daily lives.
No Fees—God's Grace is Free: Baptisms and christenings are offered free of charge. They are a sign of God's unlimited grace and love, which is freely given to all.

Stones Methodist Church is delighted to be licensed for Christian marriages, welcoming both heterosexual and same-sex couples to celebrate their union before God.
Inclusive and Welcoming: We believe in the power of love and commitment, and we welcome all enquiries with open hearts. It is also possible to marry here if one or both partners have been married before and subsequently divorced.
A Beautiful Setting for Your Special Day: Our church offers a wonderful, sacred space to make your wedding day truly memorable. We consider it a privilege to host such an important occasion in your life.
Transparent and Agreed Fees: The cost of your wedding will depend on the facilities you choose to use. All fees will be discussed, agreed upon, and fixed at the time of booking, ensuring clarity and peace of mind.
